Your data. How we use it.

UAIT.AI is the creative studio of Alessandro De Vita. Here you’ll find what data we collect, why, who we share it with and what your rights are.

Who handles your data

The data controller, the person who decides how your data is used, is Alessandro De Vita, who runs the UAIT.AI studio.

Booking a kickoff call

You can book a 20-minute kickoff call on Google Meet. The booking calendar is a Google Calendar page embedded in the site, and it only loads when you press “Pick a time”.

Before the calendar opens, you tick a box on the site. With that tick you agree to two things:

• we record the call;
• we keep the form details and what comes out of the call, such as your brief and the summaries. We use them to prepare summaries, keep your brief at hand and work faster on future projects.

You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to aledvta@gmail.com. This doesn’t affect what we did before.

• Data: first name, last name, email, your brand or website, what you want to make, plus your brief and the call summaries.
• Why: to set up and prepare the call, and to keep your brief and summaries for future projects.
• Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and your consent.
• Provider: Google (Calendar for the booking, Meet for the call, Gmail for the invite).
• How long: 24 months from our last contact if no work comes of it. If we work together, for as long as the work lasts and then for the periods required by law.

All the form fields, and the tick before the calendar opens, are needed to book. Without them we can’t set up the call.

Call recording

We record the call with the consent you give when you book, by ticking the box on the site before the calendar opens.

• Why: to write the summary we send you the same day, with proposals, a quote and next steps.
• Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, with no effect on what happened before.
• Tools: to write the summary we may use transcription and artificial intelligence tools.
• How long: we delete the recording within 30 days of the call. The summary stays with your brief, as described above.

Emails and messages

If you email us, or get in touch on LinkedIn or Instagram, we use your message and your contact details to reply.

• Data: your name, your contact details and what you write to us.
• Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract, or our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive.
• How long: as for bookings, 24 months from our last contact, or longer if we work together.

Messages sent there are also covered by LinkedIn’s and Instagram’s own privacy policies.

Email updates

If you leave your email and tick the box, you receive updates from UAIT.AI. The box is never ticked in advance.

We use double confirmation: after you sign up we send you an email, and your subscription starts only when you click the link inside it.

• Data: your email address and the language of the page you signed up from.
• Why: to send you one email a month from UAIT.AI with free resources, mini courses and news about our services. On some blog posts the free resource unlocks when you subscribe.
• Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.
• Provider: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which sends the emails on our behalf and stores the data in the European Union.
• How long: until you unsubscribe.

Browsing the site

When you visit alessandrodevita.it, some technical data is processed so that the pages load and your cookie choices are remembered.

• Data: technical data your browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address, and cookies.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site for technical cookies and fonts. Your consent for all other cookies.
• How long: each cookie has its own duration. Details are in the next sections.

Who we share it with

Your data goes to the services we need to do the work:

• Google, for the calendar, Meet and email.
• The company that hosts the website.
• CookieYes, the service that runs the cookie banner.
• Brevo, the email sending service for updates.
• The transcription and artificial intelligence tools we use to write the call summary.

Google may transfer data outside the European Union. When that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

• Booking details, brief, summaries and messages: 24 months from our last contact, if no work comes of it.
• If we work together: for as long as the work lasts, then for the periods required by law.
• Call recording: deleted within 30 days of the call.
• Email updates: until you unsubscribe.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner, at any time, by writing to aledvta@gmail.com.

Your rights

You have these rights over your data:

• Access: know what data we hold about you and get a copy.
• Rectification: correct data that’s wrong or incomplete.
• Erasure: have your data deleted.
• Restriction: limit how we use it.
• Portability: receive it in a common format to take elsewhere.
• Objection: object to how we use it.
• Withdrawal of consent: at any time, with no effect on what happened before.

You can also file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).

We make no automated decisions that have effects on you.

Cookies and browsing

The site uses a banner to manage cookies (CookieYes).

• Technical cookies: needed for the site to work.
• All other cookies: only with your consent.
• Your choice: you can change it at any time from the banner.

Fonts: the site’s fonts (Google Fonts) load from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them.

Booking calendar: when you open it, Google may set its own cookies. This happens only after you press “Pick a time”.

Minors

Our services are for businesses and professionals, not for minors.

Changes to this page

We update this page when something changes, for example when we start using a new service. The date at the top shows the latest version.
